Access OT Services is committed to ensuring your privacy and confidentiality of information is in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 and Australian Privacy Principles 2014, as well as privacy provisions of other relevent legislations.
Access OT Services collects personal information and health information about you only if it is lawful to collect the information and relevant to our role. When a client chooses not to provide requested information to Access OT Services this may impact upon the services we can provide. The client will then be informed of the consequences non-disclosure may have.
Access OT Services will tell clients why they are collecting personal information and its relevance to the role of Access OT Services.
Access OT Services will only disclose personal information in accordance with the Privacy Act.
This means that personal information may be disclosed:
For the purposes for which we have advised that we are collecting the information, and for related purposes that a client can reasonably expect
Where we have the consent of the client to do so
As required by law
Under other circumstances where permitted by the Privacy Act
Access to Information
Clients will be able to access their personal information upon request. However, Access OT Services may occassionally need to deny access to information in accordance with exemptions outlined in the Privacy Act.
Your Personal information will be stored securely to prevent its loss or misuse. Your personal information will be destroyed when no longer required.
